Serving Our Nation's Best

A fundamental component of OnPoint’s charter is to be a prime employment provider for our nation’s Wounded Warrior community. Our service members have given so much, especially those who have been injured. One of our goals is to assist wounded military veterans and their families in their transition to life post-injury. We have joined a team of federal, state and local government agencies; Veterans’ service and benefits organizations, non-profit and community based organizations, academic organizations, and professional associations within the AW2 (Army Wounded Warrior Program) Community Support Network, in committing to be an advocate for our nation’s Wounded Warriors.

Additionally, we continue to advocate on behalf of our nation’s Warrior Transition Units, which were created in 2007 to provide critical support to wounded Soldiers and their families. Participating soldiers typically require six months of rehabilitative care and the need for complex medical management. The WTUs are staffed with physicians, nurses, squad leaders, platoon sergeants, and mental health professionals, a leadership team whose job it is to ensure the soldiers’ needs are met, their healthcare is well-coordinated, and their families are cared for. Providing opportunity for Wounded Warriors, in any way that we are able, is a guiding principle of OnPoint’s mission.
